To quote Gordon Gecko in the movie, Wall Street..
The point is ladies and gentlemen that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right. Greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of it's forms - greed for life, for money, knowledge - has marked the upward surge of mankind ...

Do you think any of the pilots are still waiting for the runway to clear for take-off?:p

THE WAR'S OVER BUDDY!! BUT YOU'RE CLEAR TO BOMB FRANCE IF YOU WANT TO!!:D

and the Dem's are busting Bush's nuts becuase he cant come up with WMD ? this is 60 years later and they're still finding stuff... Iraq is probly 2x as bid as Germany.. give me 10 years to hide a semi trailer sized item in a piece of land the size of california and i guarantee you wont find it for 60 years either!!! And this is under the middle of a major airport!!!

I'll take one of the flying delta wing bombers!

anybody see that History Channel episode about the aircraft these cats were making and designing at the end ? They were YEARS ahead of us...

Though it would be incredible if true, I really doubt it.

German aircraft production was higher in 1945 than it had been...but there was no fuel for them to get into the air with. I can't imagine that you would arm a fighter with bombs before it has fuel...

BUT...if there are planes down there...what a find! Fix them up and fly them stateside...I get the droolies everytime the B-24 and B-28 fly into town, and the one time I shelled out enough $$$ to take a ride is one of the best memories of my life.

Re: Bush and Iraq

Well said. I haven't given up the certainty of finding WMD...Americans just have no patience. We like to think that the GIs stopped dying in Europe on May 5, 1945...in point of fact, there was German resistance for quite some time.

I remember watching "Nuremburg"...yes, I know it was TV, but someone made a point about the sharp iron bar welded to the front of the jeep...it was for cutting any wires the Germans might have strung across the road to decapitate a GI. I'm inclined to believe it, even if it it Holleywood...

I almost fell over when I saw the animation for some of the plane designs. If the Germans weren't such political idiots the first man to walk on the moon would have been German.
