Funny scope mount

This just doesn't look right

It isn't right. Only the front half of that mount is gripping the dovetail. Loosen it up and slide it forward about 3 inches then retighten.

Thats what you get when you mount a scope to match poor head position.

Get your nose up to the receiver, and mount the scope to achieve proper eye relief.

If its not the OP's rifle, someone else needs some instruction.
