A friend, a woman, is taking the ccw license class. Her hubby got her a Smith 642 for her purse.

However, the class requires 100 rounds.

We went for a practice session for the class, I offered my full weight pocket 38, my full size .22 auto, my wife offered her .22 ultralight .22 purse gun and her 65LS k-frame 3-inch 357.

After shooting she went with the 65LS. While recoil and a truely sweet DA pull may be part of it....the stainless frost and the rosewood have to be a major factor.

While a K soaks up recoil, .22 has about 0 foot pounds.

To wrap up: 22 purse? No; 22 fullsize? No; full weight 38 pocket? No; Pretty 357? Yes.
