Yeah, so I'm going to be buying a new knife (Bone Collector Axis), but I cannot decide between the G10 or Walnut. Both look great, and I like the "heft" from G10, but I also like the look of the walnut. I can't commit to one or the other. Someone push me off the fence, please!

If you like the walnut, get the walnut.

It appears it's not real walnut anyway, but something like walnut color Dymondwood.

Which is epoxy impregnated plywood, died whatever color they want it to be.

Which is nearly as indestructible as G-10 anyway.

Thats why they make knife scales, rifle stocks, and compound bow handles out of it.

That green and black G10 is gorgeous, but I got a really good deal on the black G10, so I had to take it. Chances are, I'll be getting the Walnut one soon enough, though. lol

If it were solid walnut, there'd be a slight maintenance issue -- likely VERY slight, as I'm sure it would have been sealed and stabilized. It's clearly a laminate, though, and probably maintenance-free. I think it looks nicer.
