Gabes Gun Shop Raided in Williamsburg, IA?

Has anyone from the area heard anything about this? I'm hoping my favorite gun shop didn't just go away and more importantly the owner isn't in jail. So far I haven't been able to find any info from the local news websites.
 
They aren't open on Mondays, I may have to give them a quick call tomorrow afternoon and check the newspapers tomorrow morning.

okay so does anyone know about this? Got a call from my sister this am. I know its been a week since this was first posted so maybe everyone else knows the story? It is a sunday, tried calling them but no answer, I know they arent open just hoping they would pick up. If its true, then all of us as loyal customers and friends of gabes have failed to protect eachother.:mad:

You're kidding, right?

If, and I stress IF, this gun shop got raided it was pursuant to an inspection, possibly several, that turned up gross misconduct and criminal activity. ATF doesn't just stage a raid on a gunshop for the fun of it.

But let's say that some agent went psycho and decided to stick it to them. What are you gonna do about it, bubba? Threaten the local ATF office? Take to the roof tops?
 
Closing this until for lack of facts. PM me if there's something to this and it warrants reopening otherwise it's going into the rumor and speculation bucket.
