Ive got 3:

New Savage Automatic pistols! A 9mm or .45 would be nice...think Model 1907.....

A .45 version of the Remington R51 (R53?), they could learn from the 9mms teething troubles to turn it into something really special!

A Ruger revolving carbine based on the new 8 shot Redhawk frame- how cool would that be?

Smith and Ruger should make a 9mm carbine using the M&P and American magazines respectively. Kimber should make an alloy version of the K6S. Smith and Wesson should offer no lock versions of their entire revolver lineup and reintroduce the 32 H&R and 327 Federal.

Yeppers,,,

A break-open action, single-shot .22 target pistol.

Nothing fancy,,,
Plain Jane would be fine,,,
Something reminiscent of the older Stevens handguns.

Cheap enough so I could buy two and case them like dueling pistols.

Aarond

.
Contender will fit that bill for now.

I fricken wish Ruger would make their 1911 in 9mm. Full size, not the commander style they have out. But nope, lets just skip that and go directly to 10mm.

A compact, economical bolt-action carbine chambered in 9mm. Bonus points if it can be had using magazines matching your pistol of choice.

That would be pretty cool. I built a Rhineland .45ACP bolt gun and it is fun. One that was built from the ground up for 9MM or 45 would be easier and probably feed a lot more reliably.

As far as something I would like to see, A Smith and Wesson .454 built on a frame smaller than the .460XVR.

A carry size double stack 9mm 1911 that I could afford. I'd love the EDC X9, but $3000 is out of my price range right now.

Umm.. no thank you. No desire to put any part of my body up close to the cylinder gap, especially not with full tilt Ruger level loads. Maybe watch someone else wearing mediaeval armor shooting it?
Well, they could do the little wing shields like the Taurus Circuit Judge- these seemed to provide the shooter adequate blast protection. Alternatively, a manufacturer could do like the Nagant revolvers and have the cylinder recess forward into the barrel extension, though, granted it would add complexity and cost- didn't keep the Ruskies from making gazillions of those pistols, though......:)

top breaks again... I'm okay with diminutive calibers, but Schofield seemed to be able to do it with close to .45 colt... I'd be a pretty niche market though... and cheapskate to boot!
Heck ya, good idea! The .22 top break auto ejectors were a hoot! And they are getting scarce enough now, that new production wouldn't have to compete with the old Iver Johnsons and such. How cool would it be if S&W actually did some up to, say .38 SPL. size! Uhhhh, no lock though please.....

There was the Spanish Gendarmerie Destroyer carbine like this, but it took 9mm Largo, and I think the mags were specific to that gun. Would be a cool idea for them to resurrect!
I was thinking of just that. My picture is of something along the lines of a Marlin or Mossberg bolt plinker, just scaled up appropriately, but still light and compact (<5lbs), and less than three hundred bucks. If they do that, they'd make a mint, especially here in the East where the ranges are shorter but we still need a good varmint piece in a caliber that matches their pistol.

I'd love a cz pistol based on the 75/97 in 10mm with a 6" barrel geared towards hunting. With options of SA safety or da/SA decocker.

Also like to see a quality bolt action carbine ,with CRF, usable iron sights ,but clearance to mount quick release rings and a scope, maybe picitany rails machined into the receiver, barrel, both dbm and hinged floor plate as options, and available in .7mm-08,308,.223 450 bushmaster, and other short action Cal's that do well in shorter barrels. Much like the cz 527 carbine ,older rem model 7's, and a shorter lighter version than the Ruger guide gun, but in a modern quality production rifle.

And lastly Henry to offer side loading Gates on their lever guns.
