S&W to put out a 952 pistol in .38 Spec., .32 long, and/or .32acp.
Also, maybe a Sig Trailside in .32acp.

Would really like to see a Ferguson rifle made though - if only the lawyers would let it happen.

To start, how about a semi auto rifle with a traditional stock and not a pistol grip?

Seems like that shouldnt be hard :scrutiny:

Something like the PC9/40 seem like its wanted by quite a few. Even a bolt version would be cool.

But jiminy crickets, can we get a new semiauto that isn't an AR? :cuss:

There is one. The Mini 14, of which a tiny number are sold compared to the AR. It's about what the customers want. I think there's probably a very small number of people who would be interested in something like that, making it a probable losing proposition for the manufacturer who tried it. Personally, I don't see the point of semi auto rifles for hunting and for 2A applications a pistol grip and synthetic stock is the way to go.

Don't laugh but.......I would like HiPoint to either go back to their original carbine stocks profiles with out all the tactical smacktical stuff OR adopt the STI "Beretta-esque" stock AND MAKE THEM TAKE SOME POPULAR DOUBLE STACK PISTOL MAG.

Seems simple enough. Might have to be a double to single feed like a BNH or Beretta 92 mag or S&W 59 series but any of those would be fine, shoot CZ even, Something.

Also want a new and improved (trigger at least) H&R 999. Maybe the Defender offered in .380 since no one stocks .38 S&W anymore.

Although I admit never buying one of Rugers bolt action .44 mag rifles, yes a "Destroyer" like pistol caliber carbine would be nice if the price could be kept way down and something that used a forward mounted High cap 9x19 mm would be nice, especially if it shipped with a flush fit 3 or four rounder for looks and states with mag restrictions when hunting. Same same .45 though single stack 1911 mags for me. Got to wonder if a double stack .357 Sig might not be neat, perhaps with hand loading the cartridge might perform like its Rimmed brother in a 16-18 inch barrel and a high cap for those using it for a HD gun (though I would choose something else over a bolt action) might be appealing to some.

But yes a "traditionaly stocked" pistol caliber carbine would be nice with a magazine forward of the trigger guard, whether bolt action of semi.

For pure silliness and it ain't never gonna happen and even if it did my kids are to big now for me to buy one, but a 75 percent scaled down M1903 A3 Springfield in 5.56 with a 1-12 twist (plenty of M 193 and 56 and down hunting ammo still out there and works better with.....)and conversion bolt/chamber adapter for .22LR......and a bayonet to fit it of course, with sheath. Call it the Springfield Kadet in memory of the old wooden Kaydet drill rifles.

Last I still want BP C&B replica of the Kerr revolver, I just do.

There are entire states with people that would like something like that... there's people in this thread that want something like that that don't even live in those states.

ETA, Thordsen and a few others have made multi million dollar businesses just making funky stocks for those people mentioned above.

I didn't say there weren't any people that wanted it. I said there are a very small number of them. Not enough to justify making such a firearm. Obviously, the manufacturers agree with me.

I think the mfgrs have just resorted to making low hanging fruit.

Like I added above that you may not have seen,
Thordsen and a few others have made multi million dollar businesses just making funky stocks for those people mentioned above.

Just thought of another one, an AR-5 repro, .22 Hornet bolt survival rifle. Maybe I'll send a letter to Henry about it.

Are they really multi million dollar? That seems kinda high. Depends what "multi million" means I suppose.

If they can make just a couple million selling $130 stocks then it seems reasonable that the mfgrs can double or triple that selling $500 plus rifles.

Could be. Apparently they don't don't think so though. I would imagine that the profit margin to R&D, manufacture and sell a complete, new, "traditional looking" semi auto rifle is a fair bit less than making plastic stocks.

I’d like to see someone offer a factory bolt action in .458 SOCOM. I’m currently converting a Remington 700 and it’s shaping up to be an expensive project.

Maybe these have been mentioned, but:

Ruger Security Six
An affordable MP5 clone (with a conversion to 10MM available)
A 9X23 Winchester CZ/CZ Clone (Used to be able to get barrels for the EAA Witness, but have not seen one in a while)

I think you meant that the other way around.

But anyways.... that could be said about every suggestion in this thread.

Do you have point that applies to my suggestion that doesn't apply to this thread in general?:scrutiny:
