I have a Walther PP serial # 349977P. It has the eagle stamps and the WaA 359 stamp. Condition about 90%-95%. A friend wants me to get er sold for him. I have seen values all over on these. Has the wood grips and bright bbl. Anyone give me a round about value?

The Walther PP was made for many decades, with different editions and places of manufacture made over those years, so that is probably the reason that the prices of these pistols can be up or down, depending on the year of manufacture or condition of the pistol.

I would also try posting this question on Waltherforums, on the "PP and TP series" section, as I've noticed that the guys there really know their stuff when it comes to Walther's PP series pistols.

A few years ago at a gunshow, I ran across a 7.65 (.32) Walther PP that looked like it was brand new in box, with a deep blue finish that looked as good as an older S&W revolver, for $400. I'm still kicking myself for not buying it.

Does it show a date on the barrel?
Where in Germany was it made?

Also, which eagle stamps?
They're not all Nazi markings.

Go to Gunbroker and search PP's. WWII stuff if hot at the moment. Zella-Mehlis commercial grades with waffen amt marks are up there. Miltary code marked guns less so. See whats actually bidding, also check out whats sold in the past using the search perameters. Your opinion as to type and condition will be as valid as any. Otherwise penny start/no reserve/one week run, then you will certainly know the value.
