    should I get the 5" in .45?
    reasons to
    1. too big too comfortably conceal.
    2. plan on getting a Sig 232 for ccw.

    reasons not to
    1. I have 6 extra mags for it.
    2. I have a bunch .40 ammo.

i would keep the 4" i love mine, but if you are set on trading it off i would stick with the .40 5" since you have the ammo and mags already.

I would stick with the .40 as well, but I wouldn't sell the 4" model in the first place unless it is unreliable or a poor performer. 4" pistols are a lot more versitile and useful in my opinion. 5" pistols are better for range toys.

Have you considered the XD-M? I don't believe the mags interchange, but 16+1 is nice. I have one and its an awesome gun.

My father in law has the 5" .45 and has no issue concealing it. You can't even tell that he has it.

    5 inch .40

I voted for the 5" .40 for 2 reasons.(1.) you have stuff for .40 already, so spend more on mag and ammo, instead of a new gun and repurchasing accessories for it.(2.)I would think that that a .40 cal round would scream out of a 5" inch barrel, which is pretty cool imo.

it's not unreliable at all, I do have one bad magazine. I thought about getting the 5" and keeping the 4". But I think I'll stick with the .40 and move up to the 5". CCW is gonna be either the Sig 232, or 239 (obviously in .40 for ammo sake) possibly HK P200sk. thanks guys.
