Anyone have this? Used before?

Nothing can replace shooting ammo for real, but if this can help dry fire practice (and, importantly, not actually be DETRIMENTAL to good practice) it might be worth the couple of hundred bucks (can't go to the range every few days due to time, and also cost; not just ammo but also range fees, parking, etc.).

We used something like that for indoor training a couple of years and the scrapped them. I did not find them very beneficial.

I like the laser for training. I use it at times when working on my point shooting. Unlike many will tell you in the real world most of your shooting will be point shooting. As far as a defense tool I have on my Glock 19 a Trijicon RMR for if the time comes that I can use my sight in a gunfight and have to pull off a 50 plus yard shot.

Getting a boresight laser cartridge is cheap. The only advantage the Laserlyte has is that it only turns on when you pull the trigger. If you want to practice bringing the gun to bear, just get a boresight.

It'll help in point-n-shoot, for you'll quickly discover that you don't have to aim, just put the dot on the target and pull the trigger.

Tried the LTS pro and wasn't impressed. It just didn't add much. All the target stuff may or may not be good. I ended up going with a SIRT gun, a nonfiring Glock replica, and have found it invaluable as a dry-fire, force-on-force, and drilling tool.

Having a safe, resetting replica of one's carry gun, set up with identical sights and trigger pull, is incredible for a serious student looking to improve draw, trigger control, etc, etc. It has a laser but that's rarely used in my case - I watch the front sight and I just use the laser as a distraction that I don't look at. It IS useful for teaching others or having others coach you on your "groups" while dry-firing, or force-on-force.
