I have a Glock 17 I can't figure out exactly which Gen it is... Or when it was made and anything that may be special about it.
    ADE762 is serial number.

My crystal ball says it is a gen 2, and it was manufactured in 1992.

Does it have a rail mount?

If yes, it's a Gen 3 unless it specifically says "Gen 4" on the slide, but you wouldn't be asking this question if it did. lol

    If no, it's a Gen 2 or 1.

    Hope this helps.

I know it's a 1 or 2. I just couldn't find it in any of my searching. Thought maybe this one would be special or something.
What 3 letter code are you talking about?
