Need to change my original front sight on my model 19 Glock, is it difficult? How is it done? Thanks in advance.

Knock the old one out with a punch. Screw the new one on.

Go shoot.

It's usually pretty straight forward. Most new sights are attached with a screw from the under side of the slide. You will need to buy a front sight tool or modify one you currently have. The only issue is that it is pretty tight in there so the tool has to be kept to a minimum size.

To remove the current sight you just pull it off with pliers.

It's a very simple procedure, and much simpler than i've described.

If replacing with an aftermarket sight then the replies above are correct. If going back with a Glock factory plastic sight then you will need to just stake it on which is nothing more than just pushing the stake in the bottom of the sight.
Got to love the simplicity of Glocks :)

Good luck

But absolutely do replace it. That is the only really weak feature on a stock Glock, IMO. (The front sight on my 1st Gen Sigma actually FELL OUT.)

I bumped into the guys from topglock.com at a gun show several years ago. They installed Trijicon sights while I watched for $90. Ten minutes.
