Glock 19 vs Glock 17

I think that the 19 is nice, but it isnt a IDPA gun and if you can conceal a 19, you can conceal a 17. If you can't conceal a 17, then get a 26.
The point is the mid size gun isn't that much better than either the 17 or 26.

After owning 5-6 Gen2 and Gen3 G19s I tend to agree.

I've had a G17 since the 90's. It took some getting used to but man, is it nice. I sold my Gen2 and got a new Gen3 for the rail and light use. I also got a G19, but I shoot and carry the 17 way more. I'm used to it and it sure shoots good. A fella your size can carry the 17, no problem.
