Glock 22SF coming soon?

FWIW, I had a Glock rep tell me that since Glock made the 21 in the SF frame, but they had so many complaints he doubted they would make another SF model. He said that by now, any "lefties" had learned to use the "old" setup as far as the mag release goes and didn't want the SF frame. However, they had spent "tooling money" on the mags/dies , and would make those mags.

I don't see how the above could be true, considering the 30SF was just recently released. All I've heard is that the 20SF was a huge success.

Whether you believe it to be true or not, I had a Glock rep tell me that at the NRA convention in Louisville.

I'm not trying to start an argument, but reps say a lot of things. Whether it's their personal opinion or they were told to by their company.

Actions speak louder than words, and I just don't see Glock tooling up to make another SF frame for the 30 unless the 21SF was selling well. Successful companies don't waste money on products that have already proven to be a failure.

The 21SF was made in three variants: Picatinny rail & ambi; Glock rail & ambi; Glock rail / standard.

I have a 22 and like it the way it is -- a slimmer grip
SF = short frame, not "slim frame".

One of my friends who works at a local gun shop claims the 20SF (10mm) was on order sheets for later this year.
