Glock 26 recoil spring assembly won't go back in easily.

Hey everyone,

I've field stripped my new g26 a few times now, and each time I've done it I noticed that the RSA "sticks" and won't compress when I try to seat it for reassembly. I'm not necessarily worried about function or reliability once it finally gives and pops in, but it is simply annoying me and making reassembly more trouble than it needs to be. Does anyone else ever experience this? Could my RSA be bad somehow?

Mine was the same way. On both a model 26 and 27. My new gen 4 model 17 with that double recoil assembly is a pain at times. Just figured that is the way it is. Never had a malfunction on any of them though.

Sounds like it's normal then. Just wanted to make sure mine wasn't defective or anything like that.
