I have a newly purchased Glock 27. It has only a couple hundred rounds through it. I carry it as my daily CC gun. I have noticed that the round I leave chambered tends to get scratched lengthwise near the lip of the brass. Can anyone tell me if this is normal?

Yes, some light, lengthwise marking is usually evident on chambered casings.
