Glock KCI Mags: A Review

FMJ:

Glockparts lists a .40 cal follower #8 and a .40 cal follower #5.

#8: replacement for mags with followers number 6 or 7. NOT for mags that originally have follower #5.

#5: For all .40 cal G-22 & G-35 Mags w/flat inside guide ribs only. Marked .40 & 5.

Ok, mine have follower marked ".40" and "5."

So does this mean I already have the latest follower compatible for this mag and just need an 11 coil spring? Or does it mean I should disregard the directions and buy the #8 and an 11 coil spring? Or does it mean I'm effed and can't use the newer follower or spring?

I guess I could just call up their customer service on Monday.

you just need the 11 coil spring then. glockparts is correct

glad to see you re-read the thread, although not properly.

i'm sure you can find cdnn's website on your own to check (hopefully ). next time read through things before coming off with the attitude.

Sorry guys to interject with a boring comment about KCI mags:

The reviews of KCI/Khan are so diametrically opposed that I have to wonder:

IS SOMEONE IN CHINA MAKING KNOCKOFFS OF THE KNOCKOFFS?

FTR: mine have KCI clearly stamped on the bottom, but many of the good reviews say their Korean magazine floorplates are completely blank.

FMJ: Thanks for the response. I'll try to order some on Monday. I'll also see if I can fix 1 of my fake mags. If that goes over well, I suppose I might fix some of my other fakes. I don't know how many to do, because fixing them will cost twice as much as their original cost!

I've only unwrapped and used four of my G19's- all have KCI on the floorplate, only one has shown any of the "flashing" previously mentioned. All work perfectly.
