What do you guys think of this? This is on my g26 I purchased new about 2 years ago. I called glock and got an email address to send this same picture to. It looks and feels like a crack. You can catch your finger nail on it or a pick. I am betting Glock is going to want to see the slide. Anybody else have an issue like this?

For some reason the picture is not as big or as clear as the one I sent to Glock but you can still see what I am talking about.

Looks like a crack to me. I think Glock should take a look.

I can't quite see it, it could be that someone scratched the slide when they detail stripped the slide. To detail strip the slide you put a punch between the firing pin lug and the black plastic sleeve underneath it, someone might've slipped when they were trying to do that. I've even seen some people use screwdrivers to do it.

Glock would probably want to look at the slide.

How about using more lighting and taking the picture from the top angle, rather than the side?

That was the best I could do with two hands. I will see if my brother can help me add more lighting. Glock emailed me back and said it was a machining lip. I wish I could get the pic to show up like I have it on my desktop, much larger and much more clear.

Sent them another picture, he again said it was machining. So case closed.
