so i want a glock 17/19 so i can use the cool 33rd mags :D

I have a Glock 23c, ive seen the asian version of 31rd mags for it but i want to go with a 9mm.

Can I get a LW conversion barrel from 40 to a 9mm and then put in the 33rd mags?

    will that work?

    Thanks

you can convert down but not up, so if you have a .40 cal glock you can convert it to .357 sig or 9mm, and yes it will work with the conversion barrel. the 33 rd mags as well will work, i have no idea why anyone would have a use for such, but they work.

Yep, it'll work. I like Storm Lake, but KKM and Lone Wolf make them too (I just hate the dorky little cartoon wolf on LW's barrel hoods). You won't have to change any other parts in the gun. It will run reliably with the .40 parts, but you will need a mid to upper range load to cycle the heavier slide reliably. Poodle fart loads will not do so.

As an alternative, you could do Arredondo, Dawson, or Taylor +10 basepads for your G23 if capacity is your only concern. You wouldn't need the conversion barrel or the new, longer magazines, and you'd save $100 to $200.

In case of the ZOMBIE's!!!!!!!!!! their coming man... better get ready

    :) hahahaha..

I don't know, first the conversion would be nice to shoot either 9/40 by the swap of the barrel and the use of the 33rd glock mag just looks fun.

if you have read the Zombie Survival Guide then you would kow that handguns are not the best option for defense against the walking dead,:) also the extra weight of that 33 round magazine would be better served in something like an ar mag.

hahaha... I love the gun hobby enthusiasts... have thought of everything and ready for it all.

Maybe i should just buy a Glock 17.. get another gun and no conversion required.
