Hello all. I frequent this sight quite abit along with Glock talk, usaully just hang out and try to learn some things. For some reason I am registered on glock talk but I can't post anything? It says that I don't have permission. If anyone here knows who I can email to fix this please let me know. Thanks for the help and sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I had the same problem many moons ago. After trying many times to get Eric's attention without success, for some reason I copied Patricia of Sidearmor. She answered my questions and fixed my problem almost immediately. If you want something done give it to a busy woman.

Patricia will most likely be able to set you up. Either that or she'll bring your problem to the right person. She's good people. Alternatively, there's usually a link somewhere on the page that says contact us or webmaster or something like that. That'll get you the attention of the site administrator quickly. I enjoy both these forums, excellent sources of info.

Been thinking about your post some more. How long ago did you register? Did you complete the registration process? Many of these forums have you type in your info, then send you a verification/registration confirmation via e-mail. This e-mail usually contains a link back to a special page at the site that completes your registration. Getting this response can take a while, sometimes up to 24 hours. Your registration is not complete until you follow the link in the confirmation e-mail. After that you can post. It been a real long time since I signed up for Glocktalk, but I'm pretty sure this system is standard. This is one possible reason why you can not post.

I tried to register but it said that my IP was banned!I've never posted there nor have I have been banned or AFAIK done anything remotely close to warrant being banned on any message board I've ever been on.I tried sending an email to Eric but never got a reply.

Try Patricia at Sidearmor. The same thing happened to me a few months ago. I was registered, but accidentally logged out and couldn't remember my password. I tried emails for three weeks but got no reply, and I couldn't send anyone there a PM to ask for help. I even tried to re-register with a different email address and screenname, but I didn't get the email verification to complete the registration, so that didn't work. I actually had to find someone here that's also a member there to relay a message for me to one of their moderators. Patricia emailed me a day or two later and said she fixed the problem. She said it's often due to the ISP of the member having spam filters that block stuff from GlockTalk. Anyway, she fixed it, so email her and she'll hook you up.
