The auto maker's will proabaly never be sued because the sheeple see firearm as evil. The car they do not. That is unless it's someone drivinf an SUV and they are drunk driving and kill someone. Then the sheeple will probably try and sue the automaker for not making the car "drunk safe".

I saw a TV interview with one of the laywers involved in the big tobacco suit. The reporter asked if they planned to sue automakers & distillers over damages caused by their products. His answer was "No, I like liquor & cars".

I'm always wary about a "news" site having a poll where they don't show the numbers of people who have voted. Without the numbers it makes it very easy to claim that they poll turned out the way that they want to spin the story.

I voted, I don't think Bushmaster should be held responsible. They did not pull the trigger and the firearm functioned and performed properly. The only responsible party is the one who pulled the trigger. I think those that think Bushmaster is responsible are the same ones that pick up a pack of cigarettes, read the warning, smoke, then sue because they got the cancer that they were warned about. They just don't want to accept the responsibilty for their actions. They prefer to play the part of the victim.
