It seems that the Govt, "Ron Emanuel" in particular, is going after the banks and pension funds that have dealings with the companys themselves. They are going to make it so hard to do business for thrm that they will need to comply with the Govt, or be forced out of business.
I hope that the Manufacturers find independant capitol or off shore money and even locations, in order to not have to end up not being able to make guns the way they have been in the past.

Well....if Hizzoner the Mayor of Chicago wants to get gunmakers out of ILL-inois, they are CERTAINLY welcome to move here to Northeast Ohio.

We have A LOT of empty factory sapce, and a large pool of skilled machinists, CNC machine operators, etc.

I find it highly hypocritical that anti-gunners often complain about the NRA's reach and power, when anti-gun forces have far more reach and power.

Going after manufacturers is a tactic they've been using for years, with success. We need more manufacturers who stand up to anti-gun forces, and who do it often and vocally.

I would LOVE to see a unified gun industry do what several have advocated... NY wants to ban all magazines to 7 max? then that's all the cops and other local law enforcement gets as well.

now the NJ push for 5... that'll be hilarious. everyone back to 5-shot revolvers! I've been wanting a wheel gun. a Judge is starting to look neat.

I almost bought a revolver after finally getting rid of my last 38, 2 years ago. I know it's a good idea to have one around, but it was just sitting there for so long, I couldn't see the need for it anymore.
Perhaps a 44 mag or 454, but there is no use for a 38 IMO. It's larger and holds less rounds, than a subcompact auto in a "harder hitting caliber".
But they are trying to get us going, "back to the future" with these propsed new laws.
Funny thing was that 20 years ago, everyone felt well protected with a 5 round smith in their holster. It's funny when you watch things change, as you get older. Now young men would think a 5 round revolver was just totally useless. It feels like we expect a multi gun shootout around the bend.
I'll bet that statistics show that not many people stand around after the first shot goes off.
Maybe we had it right back then, but that's for us to decide not the politicians.
What if they decided that all cars must be limited to 3 wheels, I bet that would cut down on accidents and deaths. How would the auto industry like that? I bet it would save more lives than 7 round mags, so no cell phones in cars, and 3 wheeled cars, then we go to 7 round mags. Now they can put a cheap gadget in a car that would make talking in a moving car impossible, how about starting there.

I agree, it'd be great if Glock ceased business, or at least magazine business with NYC or any other NY agency. Same goes for any other manufaturer that NY agencies use or would turn to.

I think Hobby Lobby, though unrelated to guns is making a good stand against the government for everyone to watch, especially the gun industry.
