Took some of my little friends out for some exercise this morning.
Finally got the new sights on Thumper, .454 levergun, adjusted to acceptable accuracy.
Loaded up a cylinder of .454 in the super Redhawk, 360 grain by Buffalo Bore, set a new benchmark for recoil. But even DA and waiting for the recoil they were very accurate.
Finally initiated Thumper's kid brother, levergun in .45 Colt. Boy that is fun. The gate is a little stiff, but everything fed smoothly. After the .454 it was like shooting a .22.
Just thought I'd share.

Cool, always good to have a fun day at the range. I got a few "perfect scores" when I went skeet shooting last weekend, pretty happy about that :)

I love anything that goes bang. Shotguns, handguns, rifles, old, new, classic, tactical, etc.
