Good Deal On A Ruger?

Hey everybody. There is a used Ruger No.1 International at a local shop. It's chambered in 30-06 and has a misc. scope. Condition looks super and the wood has fantastic grain and figuring. Price is $450. Good deal? The pic is a stock photo, and the actual rifle's wood is much nicer.

Sounds like a good deal in terms of dollars, but I would question the real utility of a an 18" 30-06, especially a single shot.

I had an international carbine for a while, and was not impressed with its accuracy. Just be aware that may be a problem.

Very good deal.

Might need some work to meet your accuracy needs (as LoneGunman mentioned). However, a forearm shim often fixes it.

If its a rifle you want it's a great deal!

Well, I just called the owner of the shop to say "I'll take it". Sadly, it sold about 1 hour after I left. To add insult to injury, the scope turned out to be an older Redfield. Sometimes you win, other times you don't.

Definitely worth the money. Just saw one at a local auction in 7mm mag sell for $680.00
