Good deal? (Norinco MAK-90 Sporter)

A buddy of mine just got a Norinco MAK-90 Sporter w/ a 75 round drum. The rifle is in perfect shape and is purported to have never been fired. I field stripped it and gave it a good once over. Looks to be perfect.

It does not have any mags except for the drum. I understand that they shipped with a cleaning rod and/or some other stuff. None of that came with. Just the rifle and drum.

I have no pics. But it's just an off-the-shelf MAK-90 as near as I can tell. Wooden grips and a thumb-hole stock. The import stamp is from CJA of Southfield, MI.

After some quick and dirty research, I pronounced it a good deal and advised him to buy it. $400 cash OTD purchased from a trusted friend who has had the rifle since '94.

EDIT: My apologies about the nondescript subject. I put that in as a placeholder and forgot to change it before posting.

EDIT 2: Fixed it.

that sounds like a deal to me, i bought mine for $350 otd, but there was no drum with it. mine was also in good shape, with a nice stock, i did drop teh thumbhole quickly though. i love my mak-90 and it is a good reliable shooter. mine didn't come with any rods or cleanning equipment but i bought a bore snake and use the solvents and lube that i already had and that does the trick.
