I used to go to a big store on wilkensen rd --Lots of goodies but expensive.
Im sorry I dont remember the name but its just down the road from the NAPA wharehouse --Google will find it for you..

The store Hk91-762mm is talking about is Hyatt's - famous for their high prices, although they may negotiate if you get the right salesman.

You might want to check out Sportsman on Hands Mill Rd in Rock Hill SC - about 30 miles south of Charlotte.

There is a store in Matthews called Firepower on Industrial drive. Good selection of guns, don't know about reloading items.

Another worth stopping by is Shooters Express, just of I85 in Belmont.

There is one on South Blvd, Carolina Sporting Arms. They have a decent supply of handguns, but are generally geared more towards hunting.

Hope this helps.

Hyatt's has a good selection but you will pay for it. :)
Carolina Sporting Arms is cheaper but not as good of a selection.
I don't think Shooters Express has reloading supplies but I could be wrong.

Nichols Store just south of Rock Hill on I77. Good selection and fair prices.

How far are you willing to drive? Shooters Choice is a privatly owned store in Columbia, SC. About 90 miles. There selection rivals ANY big store I have ever been in. They stock Wilson, Baer, Ed Brown, Nighthawk and everything down from there. Barrett and Bushmaster .50 Cal. rifles in stock. Probably 100 EBR in stock most all the time. They also have any ammount of ammo you might need (except .380) at a reasonable price.

Did I mention they also have an indoor range?

You didn't say how you were traveling.

If during the week you are passing by Aiken SC on I20.

Place called the Gun Rack, just off of Main St, 1/2 block.

Very nice custom and older rifles in the back gun room, ask to look in it. It's worth the trip.

The Gun Rack in Aiken was sold; lock, stock, and barrel. Found out last Friday, so disregard.

Firepower, Inc. is pretty good.

A couple of friends and I went there for my birthday, when I wanted to buy a gun, and a clerk talked with us about various things for an hour or so. Prices were average to above average I think, but they had a variety of prices points on handguns, a two big shelves of ammo, lotsa EBRs on the walls...also an indoor range with handgun rentals. Not so many used guns, but this was say, two years ago so some of this could change.

But it was a pretty good experience overall.
