I think ammoman.com usually has good deals, but if you want to drive up to Charlotte for the gunshow this weekend, I know there will be fairly good deals there. 1000 rnds. should be about $75-$80.

    Thanks...

Don't think I can make it to Charlotte this weekend. Maybe I'll give outdoor marksman a try.

I order mine from Cabelas - $85/1000rds. I order snail-mail but I'm sure you could order on-line, or at least use the 800 #

Plus you get a neat plastic box with each 500 rds.

It used to be a surplus metal ammo box but now they are shipping the new waterproof plastic boxes which are larger.

www.ammoman.com His prices include shipping, but you might be able to get a better deal from somebody near you-shipping will be less.

Try www.sportsmansguide.com . If you join their Buyer's Club, the per case price is somewhere around $63 plus shipping. The Buyer's Club costs $30 per year. However, if you cancel your membership within a year, they'll refund the $30 minus the amount you saved on their normal prices.

It seems I have a problem; someone has to be home to sign for the package since there is an age restriction on it. No one is home at my place during the day. Any easy way around this?

A case of Wolf is $140 locally, and I would really like to stop paying that much if possible.

I've ordered ammo online from both Cheaper Than Dirt and Natchez Shooters Supply, and neither required a signature - their 'age validation' was part of the online order process.

I think you can send Dan a copy of your D.L. and then they will waive adult signature. Dan has good deals on barnaul ammo and its better than wolf.
