I live in Washington state between Seattle and the Canadian border (Bellingham-area). I know where all the local ranges are. What I want to know is where are some good places to shoot that are not ranges: forest land and the like.
I realize that this is akin to asking someone where they hunt, or where the best place is to catch fish on Lake Soandso. So I don't except extremely detailed responses.
Normall, I shoot on Alger mountain, a few minutes drive from Kesslerings. I was just wondering if there was anywhere closer to Bellingham that would be good. I'd like to get out after work or during my lunch hour and just shoot some rounds without having to spend 7.50 at the Plantation Rifle Range.
