She is NOT Pro-Gun in any way, shape, or form.

    Greg Abbott is.

Hopefully all gun owning Texans will remember that on Election Day.

Yup, she'll try to make the right noises to get into office, then veer left.

I found the comments from Heather Wilhelm, more interesting. Heather is a Chicago transplant that got "the heck out of Dodge".

"In Davis’s world, sad stories abound; people tend to be victims. Guns, on the other hand, offer an interesting metaphor for freedom. They can be dangerous, and, when handled irresponsibly, they can lead to disaster. But they can also offer people the invaluable power of self-defense -- or, less dramatically, the opportunity to go hunting with their friends. Responsible gun owners take the initiative to learn gun safety and set up proactive safeguards for themselves and their families. To be comfortable with gun ownership, you need to be comfortable with the idea that most -- not all, but most -- people are pretty competent at handling their own lives.

For some, that’s a tough pill to swallow. "

    Amen.

Davis will say or do most anything to keep her profile high.

A fine, sensible (and entertaining) article by Heather Wilhelm.

Dr. Freud would probably mutter something about unhealthy psychological projection right here (then probably go off into left field about how it's all due to some perverse frustration :D)

This is not the area we discuss anti gun policies or people and how to combat them. We do that in activism, but have a particular issue and a plan of attack/defense when you do.
