One and Only

I had to accept a nice promotion and move to Central New York recently. All of my weapons were sold off with the exception of a S & W 66-2 3-inch P & R that is presently in MD awaiting my six month descent into the festering bowels of the Onondaga and New York pistol permit bureaus.

This is costing me a small fortune, but I will not part ways with this particular revolver.

Picked this up from a fellow THRer. Strictly a "working" gun.

Tamara, those are just a few. Then there are the N frames, L frames and J frames. Yes, I have a fondness for them.

I think a 3inch revolver is the perfect length for carrying, shooting, and CCWing. I have 3 inchers in J, K, L and N frame and a couple of Rugers in the same size....I LOVE 3 inch barreled revolovers. :D

Got my 3" 657 via you through trade with Byron, didn't I, Billy? Sweet piece.

Perfessr:
1st one-66 3" stock
2nd- PC 13 3" magnaported
3rd- PC F Comp
4th- 65 3" I bead blasted and semi-bobbed the hammer
5th- 64 3" stock
6th- 13 3" that was rusted and abused. S&W did the work. Bobbed hammer, made DAO, replaced hand and screws and reblued. I use it as my carry gun now.

...Very nice indeed. How are you fixed for heirs?

One thing I will always be gratefull for was my wife(of 25yrs now) convincing me not to have children. I get to spend all the money I want on me!!!!!!!

Well, Mr. Shear...

...you don't mind if a few of us start callin ya "Uncle" Albert, eh? :D I see lots more pre-owned 4" than 3" M-13s/65s around here, but the 3 inchers are sorta on my "BOTLF" list these days. Take care, see ya around the boards...

Brian,
I 'll tell you what. I will adopt you on one condition. Since I have no heirs I will probably need someone in my old age to change the DEPENDS!!!!!!!!!
