1) I wonder if that is a possibility here in the US.

2) I wonder how much worse (if at all) the recoil might be.

I could be wrong, but I estimate the 9mm Mak to be more akin to .38 Special performance, with .380 being less than a .38 (do you all agree with that generalization?). That, along with Mak ammo being cheaper, would make the Mak-chambered pistol more appealing to me.

But back on topic, I am pretty impressed with your new toys, guys!

I bought a MDE last Friday. I have only been able to get Independence brand ammo so far. The gun jams every 2nd or 3rd shot. Another thread says it's the ammo, not the gun. I hope so.
