This is getting out of hand. I cant seem to pass on any old press I run across.

This time its a Honady Pro 7 that had been upgraded to a Projector.
I had been keeping my eye out for one for a while. I was interested in the way that it auto advances.
I have had the hots for a LNL AP for some time but could not justify the cost. Since I have a perfectly good progressive press.

Any way. I got the thing and after drilling and tapping some new holes in my steel bench. She fits right in.
The reason I wanted it was to load 223/ 300 BLK on it.
On my RCBS it auto advances too choppy and slings powder out of the cases.
Only seems to happen on my 223 stuff.
STill waiting for my shell plate 16 for those but I have plate #1 so played a bit with some 45 ACP loads to try it out.

    Here are some photos.

I found I do like the way it advances 1/2 click up and a 1/2 click down. Plus the fact that the primer seater does not sit directly under a die position is a plus. Could use station 2 for the powder drop and 3 for the powder check, 4 for the bullet feeder and 5 for seat and crimp.

This shows why I like this bench with a 1/4 inch steel top.
Drilling and tapping the mounting holes make it super easy to swap out presses.
