1902 Remington .22 rolling block which my friend Ari Munzner. He got it from his father when he was a teenager, in 1947. Now I just need to find forend and stock for it...

Nice piece of history! If you need fore-end and stock made for it, I know a guy locally who does a pretty reasonable job, and doesn't charge as much as many custom stock-makers. I think his charge would be in the $250-$350 range, going upward if you want fancier wood. On the other hand, Remington may be able to supply something, even after so many years.

Congrats and Mazeltov, Oleg. Try Numrich for new wood.

I'd stick to standard velocity ammo in a piece this old.

I tried Numrich but couldn't figure out what that model was called. Any ideas?

    Wow. Nice gift.

Nice haircut too Oleg... looks good on you.

You sure you don't want to "Skunk" it out with carbon fiber?

    (that was a joke)

Yes. Her uncle, sully, will be teaching carbine and armorer classes in TN in early August, she might be coming along. She made a cameo appearance a the last gathering, no pictures I am afraid.

I think you have a Remington "No. 6" .22 R.F. Rolling Block. 20" barreled "Boy's Rifle." 497,000 made between 1901 to 1933. Numrich Arms has parts, but apparently no wood. Their catalog does have a good picture of the complete rifle and the stock and forend appear to be pretty simple. Sorry, nothing in carbon-fiber.
