Got "made?" or at least suspected?

I was almost made once, even though I didn't have my pistol on me.

In my bible study I'm known for carrying knives... well I sat down next to a friend on Monday night and lifted my shirt to turn my phone off, and my friend saw the bottom of my magazine pouches on my belt. He asked "just how many knives do you have on today?" I told him they were some of my "other" gadgets... he asked again at the end of the night and I told him I had geared up to go to the range but wasn't able to make it that day. Like I said above, I didn't even have my pistol at the time -- it was out in the car.

On an alternate note, the day I got my permit I went to Wal-Mart (is that the first place everyone goes when they can legally carry?) with a close friend who knew I had gotten my permit. I assumed she knew I was carrying, but she didn't say anything. About a week later I had gotten my new Wilderness Belt and she saw the buckle as we got out of the car (again at Wal-Mart) and asked if it was my new belt. She asked to see it, so I just flashed the front again. She said "can't I see the whole thing?" and after a quick look, I quickly flashed her my right side so she could see my pistol and holster. "Oh," she said, "that's why you didn't want to show it." I told her I had been carrying pretty much every time we had seen each other in the past week, including that last trip to Wal-Mart. "Didn't you know?" I asked. "I couldn't tell" was her answer -- so if someone who knew I was carrying couldn't tell, I don't much worry about the sheeple anymore.

I've made several people, I just didnt say anything. They may have made me, but they didnt say anything.

At my CCW class there were two guys in Hawaiian shirts. Both were PI's. They weren't willing to confirm (obviously, since they didn't have their CCW yet), but everyone in the class assumed they were both carrying.

Nobody could tell for sure, though. And we were all trying.

I was made once, and it was by my brother the first week I was carrying. I had a tucked in shirt, and a j-frame in my pocket. I had been wearing that j--frame as a backup in the pocket all week in a uncle mikes holster. THe uncle mikes made the j-frame sit rather high in the pocket, so when It shifted, the end of the grip sat visible. Luckily my brother saw it, rather than a different family member or stranger, and it was no harm no foul. I quickly switched to a desantis nemesis holster after that, and saved my pennies for a actualy holster, a Pocket Concealment Systems, and ahve never had trouble again. I carry concealed everywhere its legal, and no friend or family member that knows I carry has made me since. They ASSUME Im carrying since they know me, but they dont KNOW Im carrying, unless I tell them yes or no, and where its at.

Right holster for the gun you carry.

I have always been as careful as possible to make sure i being as discreet as possible while out in public and CCW.

My theory, it's nobody's business but mine as to the status of whether I'm armed or not.

After reading many reviews on holsters - here and other sites i bought a M.S. - Versa - Max 2 - for a 1911 government model pistol that i currently carry.

Best holster I've bought to date - excellent workmanship + concealed carry is not an issue.
