Got My First Evil Black Rifle Today!

I purchased my first AR-15 today after months of research and debate. I settled on a Spike's Tactical 16" M4 LE upper paired with a Spike's Tactical Standard lower w/ M4 stock. So far I've added/purchased two PMAGs, an MOE Handguard, and a Magpul MBUS rear sight. I also bought a Tapco front sight adjustment tool, Tapco cleaning kit, and a soft case. Plans for the future are simple; I'd like to add a single-point sling, possibly a vertical fore grip, and eventually some type of optic although I want to become proficient with the irons before going down that road. Thanks for checking it out guys, I'm excited and had to share!

Nice carbine, Spike's has done a good job of upping their quality while keeping costs to a reasonable minimum....I would recomend that you not mount an optic of any kind until you have first, mastered the irons, and decided what you want from an optic?

You don't have enough magazines. You need at least seven for a full combat load-out. PMags are a good choice.

Ya done good.

I woulda gone with a Magpul MOE Pistol Grip over the forearm, a fully adjustable rear sight (windage AND elevation), and then skip the rest of the tacticool stuff personally, but, too each his own.

Congrats, welcome, have great fun and be safe!
