Thanks to all you guys that gave me info. on the CZ`S You guys were correct when you said that the CZ`s are sraight shooters. This gun is a beautiful addition to my small collection. Any of you want to show off your handgun pics, post`em here. I am absolutely satisfied with this CZ. It came with the radioactive night sights, two mags, a lock and case.

Well here are a few pics of the last three guns that I`ve bought including my CZ 75 B. Post your pics here if you`d like.

Mmmm... Satin Nickle. Looks just like mine! Except the grips, I added some hogues. But other than that, if yours is half the shooter mine is, you're going to be in love!

Excellent choice! One of the best pistols ever made. A reliable, accurate, and dependable platform. In my opinion, the CZ75 takes everything great from the 1911 and Browning HP , and makes it even better. It is consistently the pistol that I am most accurate with. Its the best ergonomically, for me at least.
I ALSO NOTICED YOU GOT THE .40SW chambering!!, excellent!!!!!!!!!!!

This merits an additional reply to the one above. Alot of my students love this pistol and only think its available in 9mm. I have to clarify to them that its also available in .40SW, its just that many dealers don't stock the .40SW, at least here, but it can be special ordered without any problems.

Here is my CZ75BD. I never miss a chance to post pictures as I have just learned how to do it. I agree. Great pistols.

IMO one of the best if not the best pistol to come from behind the iron curtain.

The CZ-75 is a very popular pistol worldwide in one form or another many copies have been and are being made.

A sleeper for years in the USA but as word gets out these are only going to be more popular they are among the best semi auto pistols

Yeah, after reading a lot of material and reading the ballistic chart on the .40 S@W I sold both of my 9mm`s and started my hunt for the best .40 cal. handguns. I came up with the CZ 75 B and the Glock 22. I first bought the Ruger P 94 cause it was a great bargain. The Glock is also a great straight shooter. I placed 2nd with it a few days ago in a small local match. One bullet cost me first place in the final round at a 50 yard target. I ain`t over it yet. Great pic of the 75 BD.

My corner shooting was OK and here`s another pic of my 25 yarder. Time was everything in this match.

Congrats on the satin Nickle 75B.

He said you need to fill your CZ up with Double Tap Ammo.

High velocity ammo that is popular on Glock Talk and other forums
by people who know their guns.

I use DT Gold Dot ammo in my CZs except the RAMI.

Kool pics guys. I`m not in to the wrap around grips but I am trying to find a place to buy a flame or quilt maple or ash grips for the CZ. I`ve been looking and most of the places seem a bit shady in my opinion. Thanks guys.

Wow, just checked out the double tap ammo site. Wayyyy to expensive for me. I`ve had great use out of the PMC 165 grain FMJ`s for targets and I personally prefer the Federal Hyro shocks for my protection loads. The match pics that I`ve posted are all shot with PMC. I think that they`re great. They are only about $240.00 per thousand. Can`t beat that, but thanks for the advise anyway.

Double Tap for defense carry, cheap FMJ or generic JHPs for practice.

As for CZ grips. Hakan or Omega are first class businessmen with great reputations for quality. CZ-USA is now selling some nice walnut grips.

You can find them at the CZ ZONE

ergonomically the CZ is very comfortable to shoot. definitely not a snappy gun. only complaint I have on them is the trigger, which I hear smooths out after 1000 rounds. i've got 500 rds so far, so I'm half way there... :)

My trigger is as smooth as silk. I`m not just saying that because it`s my newbie, I was told the same thing that you`ve stated about the triggers but it`s not true. As for the ergs., it feels as natural as any, it`s like it`s a part of my body that I didn`t know I had, really, very, very comfortable. Shooting? Dead on the money. Over and over and over. Snappy? Man think about it, it`s metal, the recoil is actually less with the CZ than with the Springfield or Smith and Wesson auto`s that I`ve shot. Smooth gun, no complaints, none.

Oh yeah, post pics if you`d like.

Ergos on par with the XD (copied the CZ grip) and High Power.
Should you buy a Cz and don't like it, plenty of people will buy it from you.

The grip is not bad for a double stack, I'd say more comfortable than my G19. The trigger reach in DA is my only gripe, its way long. My CZ is a range gun, and never starts from DA, problem solved.:) I did work on the hammer, to remove the camming, and now the pull is way better in SA:)

If you want grips, try Dennis Marschal. I purchased some custom grips for my P-01, here's a pic (sorry about the crap photography, Im a shooter of arms, not cameras :) ):

P01_7.jpg

Took about a week and a half to get them and his prices are amazingly low for the quality. Check out the high resolution gallery at his site: http://www.marschalgrips.com . I doubt you'll find a better set of custom grips for many of the models of pistols that we frequent on this board, especially for the price.

woodstock Good shooting. We love those (show us on paper groups) You better stick with your present ammo in these pics

What did you do to the hammer to help with the pull?

Lots of info on that at the CZ Forum. If you take the hammer out of the gun, you would see the surface the sear rides up, durring trigger pull, actually has a reverse angle over 90 degrees, cocking the hammer further as you pull. If you stone the hammer, to eliminate the reverse angle, and put it closer to a 90, the camming goes away. Also removing the Firing pin block system will give you a better reset.
