    Man,
I am glad I save for this rifle. Simple, safe, easy to lug around. Thanks everyone who gave me input on previous threads :)

Although I've owned seven or eight in various calibers and configurations over the years my only Marlin at present is a recently purchased 94 in .44 Magnum. A 336 with just the right amount of patina is next on my list..Essex

The 336C costs a little more but I am a stickler for a nice Walnut! Matches the wooden cake knife I make in black walnut!
