Nice knife.

The USN MKII/Marine F/U is a classic.

My first was a hand-me-down Camillus back in the 70's. Was my woods knife as a kid. Wish I still had it.

Currently I have this Ontario laying around.

Great looking blades... a quick reminder - make a point of keeping the knives and leather sheathes separate when storing them and only have the knife in the sheath when it's being carried. Leather holds moisture and will cause your blade to rust over time...

I really like the Ka-bar, even as a kid I thought they were what a knife was supposed to look like. I bought one for my sister's ex-husband as a gift when they were still married. He was a marine who got out then joined the army, so I picked up one of the US Army OIF collectibles for him. I thought he would appreciate the combination of the Marine knife with Army designation and OIF engraving since he was a part of but alas after they divorced he decided he didn't want it and left it on my sister's doorstep so she gave it back to me.

Great knife. I've got a USMC kabar I bought at an army surplus store 20 years ago. Been to hell and back on camping trips.

I recently bought the Fighter model. A bit longer, a bit wider, a bit thinner stock. Love it.

I have the same knife, except mine says Afghanistan. I lost count of how many Kabar knives I have, somewhere around 6-10. And my wife has a few that I use so the number is even more fuzzy. Best deal I ever got on a Kabar was I got the D2 Extreme Fighter for $90. Carried that knife on every patrol in Afghan-land strapped to my thigh. It has never seen a sharpener and it can still cut through tomato paste cans with no effort.
