Finally got some trigger time for me instead of running the range for hunter education students.

It went wonderfully. Weather was perfect. No one else around.

The unissued yugo m59/66 that I decosmo'd and finished the stock on for my wife? She was bouncing 12 guage hulls at 100 yards with ease. Gun functioned perfectly. Total round count around 100.

The makarov? All 8 new magazines worked flawlessly, no matter what ammo I had staggered in them. About 300 rounds today.

The wifes new open sighted 10-22 in a butler creek folder? Four different magazines, not a single malfunction of any kind, and again, dead 12 guage hulls at 50 yards with ease. About 160 rounds through it this trip.

It seems her sig 229 in 40 S&W will run the winchester ranger ammo just fine. Tested it for carry duty today- It runs VERY clean. No troubles at all, and accuracy was easlily where it needed to be. Put 200 rounds of that stuff downrange today.

My tromix converted 223 saiga was perfect as usual.

My spanking new saiga 12 digested anything and everything I threw at it with the gas port on setting #1. 2 3/4, or 3 inch. Buck, slug, or skeet loads, an ANY order. Not one hitch. Guess it isn't new now, eh? Just over 100 rounds through it today.

I've decided having Mondays off is great.
