Great Gun Derringer

From what I understand, they are popular in some parts of Europe that don't ban black powder weapons for carry.

Not much firepower, but two .45 cap and ball rounds in the jugular or nads should prove decisive.

They look very well made and super kewl. I'd love one of the .45 jobs.

That is an awesome derringer, and those Czeks are incredible!
I would love one, but $350 USD is pretty steep, not to mention
how much for int'l shipping and how much for customs (if they even let it in ! )

try google tranlsate:

for $350 USD I think I will try building a "Twister" turnbarrel using the cutoffs from my .45 remmie projects... maybe I can make a BP cartridge version based on .45 cowboy brass.

looks like Dixie is still selling the Twister - you can get 2 and get "change " back:

hope this helps

Very cool looking design and appears to be very sturdily constructed and nicely finished.

Acera,

Naw, I just could not get the OP's to run so had no idea what it was so went and found it in about a minute as I really like the Hungarians site.

He does great stuff.

Guys, we need to knock it off and petition Dixie Gun Works to import these guns.

It is the only way.

It is, OUR DESTINY.

I'd rather it be Cabela's. Take advantage of the free shipping over $99 offers and they'll eventually go on sale at $50-100 off.

Dixie has a great selection, but their shipping charges for a little pocket percussion pistol are outrageous. $17 for s/h is a lot especially considering how high the prices are already at DGW.
