Gun Auction

I believe blue book values as much as I believe the news.
Think about it.
Kelly Blue Book, the auto industry bible, is the go-to place to find out car values.
Printed for the car industry by the car industry.
Trade in a car?
Blue Book says it's worth $5000.
You see the same car with the same miles in the same condition advertised for $8995.
You go to the car auction and see the same car sell for $6200 and the same dealer will pay $6200 for a similar car from the auction.
So, the blue book value is actually under wholesale so the dealer can wholesale it for a profit or retail it for a huge profit.
Dealers love trade-ins. Gun dealers love trade-ins. Pawn shops love the blue books.
They use the blue books that undervalues and rips off the consumers.
Blue books are a tool used by dealers to rip off the consumer.
I loved it when the "educated consumer" walked into the dealership with pre-printed pages of blue book values.
They were already set up to be ripped off by these blue books.

Well I do thank ya all for the responses, reckon I'll just have to look around, until I find a Remington rolling block, in the caliber I prefer at a local gun shop.

Have you tried posting a wanted to buy ad on Armslist?
