I've been waiting 2 weeks for a response to a issue with an item i was selling.
never had to talk to them before.

Hoping their support does not consist of additional questions once every 3 weeks to drag this out for months :uhoh:

Google "gunbroker scam"

Get ready to wait unless its something technical and easy to fix.
Their customer support is dismal if it involves any real issue outside of formatting or listing problems.
I waited for over 2 months for GB to help resolve an issue I was having with a seller listing items he didn't have in stock and wanting a "restocking fee" if you wanted to cancel instead of waiting for it to arrive back in stock.
I finally realized I wasn't getting anywhere, ate the $250 "restocking fee" for an item that the seller couldn't send because HE didn't have, and resolved never to use the site again for their lack of both ability and affinity for countering fraud against the buyer.
I too had the "one answer every 3 weeks" treatment...which I swear was just a ruse to protect their buyer from my credit card company's 90 day limit on refunds.
I have since found a few other sites that are smaller and offer more protection against fraud for both buyers and sellers, that are not as crazed as gunbroker and still offer decent prices.

Buyer was shady, Lying to me about the laws. Trying to circumvent NICS. Tells me he lives in one state, then its another state....

so i got one stupid response after 2 weeks, they didnt remove the fee for the unsold item and now im about at the next 2 week mark after i explained the situation again.

Ill just wait till they charge my card and dispute it if this is what they call "customer service"

Your CC company will almost always take your side, refund the money while they investigate, then make a decision.

Had a similar problem and they never got back to me (4 weeks) so I cancelled the sale, which I had clearly noted at my sole discretion in the auction description.

So here it is now over a month and still no response to me.

On the other hand GB has had the time to remove feedback that i left for the conman.

GB encourages buyers attempting to get sellers to break the law and penalizes the seller for not continuing the transaction. .... terrific

I had a new gunbroker member buy some magazines from me on 1/30/2013. He also bought something from another guy, I only that that because the other guy left a feedback similar to mine. I never heard a word from the buyer. On 2/4/2013 I sent an official payment reminder. I then had to wait to 2/8/2013 to initiate the non-paying bidder routine. On 2/19/2013 I was able to request a credit for the auction fees associated with the auction. I have yet to receive a credit.

I Just got credit from the CC company (took 5 minutes), it was only $10 and they said its not even worth it for them to take it back from gunbroker.

Still annoyed GB is getting away with this with their horrible customer support

I am not sticking up for GB but I would imagine they are running behind on their stuff just like everyone else in the industry. Perhaps try another listing site or forum.

Gunbroker Non-Paying Bidder

They are very slow on responding customer support issue right now. There is no phone # to call either! I had the same issue and thery finally responded after almost a month. The answer is filing a Non-Paying Bidder report and they will initiate the refund/credit process. You must do it within 45 days after the auction. By the way, I gave my buyer an option to pay the gunbroker fee instead of going thru the process with a negative feedback.
