My experience near Sacramento yesterday at the Yolo Sportmans Association reminded me how much I hate my liberal city in the Bay Area and LOVE the relative freedom and space of the more rural parts of the world - as well as the people that come with it.

I was given hope that there is a more happy future for me - somewhere. I just need to get a lot of money to buy some land.

Anyhow, what parts of the world have you found are the most friendly? I'm mostly interested in "1st world" locations, but also other exotic options.

-sven, thinking about going back to tele-commuting...

    Sven...

    listen very carefully

Get all the money you can, get loans, borrow, sell, whatever,
get out of that liberal piece of junk communist state you are living in. NOW.
go to most any other state and enjoy your rights.

I'm not crazy about much of the liberal nonsense that passes for politics here in Vermont, but we ARE a gun-friendly state.
