    Hi all,
I went through the hassle of getting my firearms collection put on my homeowners policy as a rider. I thought it was high dollar, but went with it any way, because I deemed it to be the easiest way to go. Fast foward two months and I get a letter stating the policy never went into effect. It didn't go into effect because I didn't include the date of manufacture, in my paper work. My agent didn't tell me they needed the date of manufacture.
After all that hassle, I've decided to tell them to kindly forget it.
I'm now leaning towards corvens gun insurance. It's 350 dollars a year for 115,000$ coverage. Have any if you guys dealt with corvens? If so what do you think of them?
The main concern I have is how far away I am from them. Main reason that bothers me is, should I have to file a claim, I can't be there to see things first hand so to speak.

I don't know corvens, I use COllectibles Insurance Agency. I know one person that had a claim and they sid it was no hassle. I think for over $100,000 they require you to have a safe also.
