Does anyone have any experience with the gun laws of other countries? Specifically, the rights to own and use firearms for hunting, shooting and personal protection (at home) in Central and South American countries.

I know that Mexico is pretty restrictive and that Argentina has some good hunting but what if you decide to live there (or someplace else) what are the gun laws like?

How about owning guns in the Carribean Islands?

I hate to ask, but if you don't know, please don't speculate:confused:...If you do know, please expand as much as you can:).

Thanx

Forget the Caribbean, the British influence is all to prevalent. Several Central American countries are good for gunnies/hunters. Got one friend with several Class III/title II firearms that's considering France and he knows their laws, I don't.

I used to work as yacht crew in Roatan,Honduras,I have several freinds/aquaintance there that own numerous firearms, and most have their concealed weapons permit.
