I've been using Ox Yoke Best Dam Gun Oil. This stuff is great, even when I forget to routinely rub down my guns for months, there is never any rust on the metal. It doesn't discolor the wood, nor does it have any dangerous fumes. I can store the guns in my bedroom closet and not be bothered by fumes. Cheap, too, something like $4.00 for a 3 or 4 oz bottle. And before anyone gets any wrong ideas, I don't sell it or have any financial interest in the company who does.
