I need ideas of what to get for someone for Christmas. The gift should be gun oriented. The gift should be around 50 bucks or so. This person already has holsters, gun cleaners, and ammo. What other reasonably priced gun gifts are recommended?

    Thanks

How about those gun coffee mugs from the NRA? Set of 4--Glock, 1911, M9, and M16. Think they were under $50.00.

Can you ever have too much ammo . . . plinking, target, match, personal defense, and so forth?

Ammo is always cool -- it always gets used.

How about a couple packs of shoot-n-see targets?

Perhaps a gift certificate for a shop in thier area... A shirt or other piece of clothing with a favorite logo is always a welcomed gift too.

A gift certificate to a place like Michael's of Oregon, Cabela's, Bass Pro Shops, etc.
They can always add to it.

I think my brother is getting me an NRA t-shirt, which is about twelve bucks. Get this person four different ones.

You could get him a nice el-cheapo gun to do things with that you wouldn't want to do to a good gun...

Books are always a good choice ... either coffee table books on their favorite guns, or a good book on tactics, or political issues ... whatever they are most interested in.

    Magazine subscriptions are nice too.

How about the Otis cleaning system. Get the one for the belt that cleans all calibers. About $49.

You can NEVER have TOO MUCH AMMO!

Gift certificate works too. He can add his own $ and get whatever he wants.

I didn't know that Colt, Para, Beretta, Glock and CZ made a left handed pistol??
That little lefty Rossi looks cute though.

But the lack of a single action revolver is inexcusable.

If this person is a target shooter--lots o' targets.

If this person is a reloader, lots of components (powder, primers, bullets, cases, etc.)--make sure you know the preferred kinds.

Membership at a local shooting range?

Lane passes at an indoor range?

Gift certificates are great. No-error gifting.

But if you know their preferences, a nice set of presentation grips for their favorite piece.

I'm getting a shotgun and Garand, but I'm lucky... I also want several T-Shirts from ThoseShirts.com, namely "Four more in '04," the Ann Coulter shirt, "US Armed Forces Freedom Tour," "Imagine no liberals," and "Club Seals, not sandwiches." The odds of me getting those are small, though.

Giving a contribution to my father's "Cool Gun Fund," but that's the only gun-related gift I'm giving.
