How many people buy gun related art? Whether it's for a man cave, or the garage, or even a room in the house...how big is the mark for gun-related, high quality art to hang on the wall?

I created this picture last night and I think I'm going to make a large framed print out of it. That got me wondering if there's a market for this type of thing.

What do you think? Can you see yourself buying "gun art" for the wall? As a gift? Etc?

While I find some gun related pics interesting, I don't think I'd ever pay to own any kind of gun photographs. Forum member Morgo takes beautiful pics of his Berettas and I've seen them used on FB in Beretta's marketing posts. But they aren't my guns. If they were I'd probably hang it on the wall in the gun room.

I do like old historic marketing signs and parts diagrams.

That is a nice shot OP. Worthy of wall hanging.

Neat photo! I enjoy taking photos of my guns and knives, staging them in different settings and with additional lighting effects.

Thanks! The lighting is the hardest part. Sometimes I'll do something on accident that looks great and then it makes me wonder "what else could I be doing to make these pics look better?" It's just one more hobby with unlimited potential for learning...kind of like guns.

Nice shot.

I have some gunrelated art, but they're photos I took myself. I'm a professionally trained news/documentation photographer, so art is tough for my eye.

I think the market is very small, but it's worth marketing some when you have something you know people will want.

I think integrating firearms and associated items into art is very important and missed as an expression of the sport.
Follow me here, if I photograph reloading brass straight out of the polisher, the sun rays sparkling off the necks, as they stand in the reloading block all in precise angles. Or OP's nice :thumbup:photo , and I mean as a serious attempt to catch a moment, express etc. , did not I just engage in protected free speech;)? To this extent should there be art exhibits of shooting sports?
The items I wish to express are just as important as the expression, one doesn't exist without the other;). And if it solidifies my freedoms as outlined in our sacred documents, so much the better!!

Don't know if it qualifies as art but I've got several pieces of gun advertising that are framed. Most are old full color ads that were in magazines or other periodicals, like Shotgun News. I get lots of positive feedback on them from gun folks. I ought to photograph some and post 'em.

I've thought about making something like this for a while..............

I have some X-ray imaging of firearms that would be nice on a poster. Here's a BR99 and SIG522. I rendered these 2D images from Ct scan data:

Oleg has been doing incredible firearms related photography for years. I try, but I never make never anything as nice. These are some CZ SP-01 Phantom photos. I really think the OPs photo would make an excellent wallpaper. ;)

Wow! That's just...scary!!

The scary part was the bottle of hot sauce that little skull came from! It came attached to a bottle of Blaires Death Sauce. It was so cool I figured I'd keep it.

It looks ominous and there's a bit of a message in it, but the main thing is I was bored and looking to play with the camera. But now I want pizza...because that hot sauce goes great with pizza.

In the fridge actually. Well....it was. Currently in the first stages of digestion. Any chance you could want maybe a salad tomorrow night? I'd hate to sue THR for making me fat.
