    What a cluster**** it was!
Soon as I got there at 9:30 (when I finished standing in line to get in), I went right to the AMMO Booth and stood in line a full Hour and 55 minutes till I paid for my megar ammo purchase (they were out of /22 RF, 20 Ga Buckshot and all 20 Ga shells save SLUGS!)
I The supply of .38 specials was down to 8 boxes of PMC 38 gr solids (of which I bought 5 boxes just to have some .38's on hand...
I bought 2 5 round boxes of 29 ga slugs just to have something bigger than #7 1/2's on hand,
All in all what a early morning!
I then cruised the tables and found marked up prices on revolvers. Many were marked up around 40% over their worth and sellers were pretty tough to haggle with since the uniniate were paying "Sticker" prices. Shotguns were mrked up bout the same and if they had any quality to them at all, prices started at $1K
yep it was a moneymaking oppurtunity and few were passing it up!
I was rather disheartened by the geenerallack ofwillingness to haggle prices, for the same booths ,lat show were more than willing to deal!
I guess I can't blame them the show has turned into a profiteer system with the Obama panic. I just have a different set of moals and wouldn;t be out to rape the system.
    This is the future?
    I am afraid so.
The friendly Turlock Ca Fairgrounds deakers have sure changed!
    Might be my last show...

I hear ya. I can barely stand the thought of gun shows anymore. No more deals. No more socialization. No more fun. Nowadays I would rather just hang around the local shop for a bit than pay money to walk around and be disappointed.

We are having the yearly gun show this weekend. I scooted around on my little scooter looking at things the best i could. Small pistol primers were $45.00 and up. Powder that i looked at was waaaay over priced. Hornady 55gr v-max bullets were $54 or so/250! I have all of my supplies covered so it didnt bother me. I should have taken 30 or 40 thousand 22lr and sold it though! Oh yea, I did buy a Beretta Nano 22lr pistol.
