Ask for Mike.......tell him Steve from Larksville sent ya.

I frequent these guys often.......bought several guns from them. They have a pretty good selection, especially of used guns.

There is another one.......think its called

Fire One Firearms???? They are in the Taylor area (near Scranton).....they have a big selection, but didn't like their prices.

Gander Mountain has a store below the Viewmont Mall......lots of guns. Haven't bought any from them.

Further West. A place called Ackleys. Just beneath the NY border. Middle of the state. Tioga Co. I think the town is Westfield but not sure. Big selection. Quantrill

    Gun Stores near Scranton

DW, If your comming in Route 84 you could get off at the Newfoundland exit, (17 miles East of Scranton) go right to Hamlin corners, take a left on Route 590 to the jct of route 348, look to your right behind the hardware store and you will see Hunters Gallery, large inventory and good prices.
There are a few more stores in the area and if you can give us an idea of what your looking for maybe we can narrow the search.

Steve--Fireone Firearms was bought out by your friend Mike and is closed. Mike said he has all his stock in storage due to his small store. You are correct about Fireone's prices, i bought a G26 there and when the recall problem turned up they refused to send it back or give any support--Good Riddance....

I am coming in on 84, so I might check out Hunters Gallery. I am in the market for a new Mini 14 or a new Rock River or Bushmaster Varminter. I know I can't buy a handgun since I am from out of state (CT). I assume I can buy a rifle without having to have it shipped to a CT FFL(?).

Great guy to deal with, sold him 2 mini 14's and many other firearms several months ago, mention Paul from Scranton, his son is a Scranton LEO.

    Good luck,
